丁衍庸 先在日本学画，早年在广州和上海居住但解放后长期住香港；他的意笔水墨画甚有名气但近年来售价特高的是他的西式的油画，风格有点像Chagall 和Cezanne. 丁老在世时有在香港大学校外课程部教教国画,我的岳父生前有跟他学两人一起画了这张 (松鼠是丁老的):

Ding Yanyong received his art education in Japan and lived his early period in Canton and Shanghai, but after 1949 lived mostly in Hongkong. His Chinese brush paintings were well known, but in recent auctions it was his oil paintings that fetched very high prices; these oils are somewhat along the styles of Chagall and Cezanne; he used to teach some classes for Hongkong U's extramural studies, and my father in law was once his student; they drew the above painting (Ding did the squirril).
