Some shots of the moon using three cameras with telescopic lenses
nikon with 1600mm manual lens, digitally brightened and reduced to 40% - unreduced it is hard to tell whether the patches and colours are real:
this was shot with iso 1600; another shot at higher iso, with less digital brightening, but the detail capture seems less good
after switching to 800mm (by removing a 2x extension lens), better results, reduced to 60 or 70% only with slight digital brightening
one of these was shot at 1/400s one at 1/500s, requiring slightly more digital brightening.
now a shot taken by Kodak Z740 at 10x zoom with additional 3x digital zoom
not as good, but not too bad, though the sky is much too blue; the olympics sp550 did poorly
but I think the additional telescopic lens probably did damage - forgot to try a smaller shot without it
